Everybody wants to be the number one search term on Google without having to pay for it.

Probably even more than that today. People want to have hundreds of thousands of followers on TikTok so that they can reach their fans to sell them things whenever they want. Doesn't hurt. That would also make you famous and it's super cool in today's creator world haha.

This type of marketing is called organic marketing and it's somewhat different than advertising but has some similarities as well.

In advertising we are paying Facebook, Google, or TikTok to show up in somebody's feed or on their search results. But for SEO you need Google to decide that your content is the best for that search term and have them place you there. That's hard and can only be done through building trust in your website for a long period of time.

Then there is Instagram and TikTok organic, which is growing in importance and in my opinion it is more feasible than becoming the number one organic slot on Google. But it does take a lot of work and a ton of effort on making videos.

For this to work you need to figure out your content voice and you need to create a content series that is repeatable and that people are interested in watching.

With ads you can basically force the videos down your customer's throat by paying Facebook or Instagram or TikTok to show your video in your customer's feed. If that video is super persuasive, you can get them to purchase without having a long-term relationship with them.

But building up your follower count on TikTok or Instagram is really more like building up a relationship with these people over time. You need to find your voice and you need to provide educational or entertaining content that your prospective clients want to see.

There is a course that I took called Cut 30 that I recommend for people who are interested in this. www.Cut30.com

The course costs about $1,000 but it really works to help explain the video types that go viral and it has a practical guideline for you to learn how to make them. You start with easier videos and then work your way into more complex videos. It may sound daunting but anybody can do it if they just give it a try and stay consistent.

This strategy is one that I definitely recommend and I would be happy to help coach you but it requires a lot of work on your own side. So you have to be ready to make the commitment or be willing to hire somebody who can completely take it off your plate.
